How Does It Work?
Digital Key 3.0 uses Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology to communicate between your phone and vehicle. Approach your MINI with your smartphone in your pocket or bag, and the doors will automatically unlock. Once inside, press the start button to begin driving – no need to remove your phone.
The system provides precise location detection, assuring your MINI only responds when you're nearby. You can also share digital keys with family members through the MINI app, setting specific permissions for each user.
